Before establishing her Coldwell Banker office in Costa Rica, Phyllis was a dedicated team member within one of Coldwell Banker’s top-performing development-focused mega teams in the United States. Working alongside experienced leadership and agents, she gained firsthand insight into the systems, structure, and teamwork behind large-scale subdivision and exclusive inventory sales. That experience shaped her understanding of how high-level real estate operations function behind the scenes, from developer collaboration and marketing strategy to scalable listing management, lessons she now applies thoughtfully as she helps grow the Arenal region within the Coldwell Banker network.
Phyllis brings more than three decades of entrepreneurial experience to her role, including international franchise development where she oversaw multi-unit expansion, construction, and operations across multiple markets. This background allows her to work comfortably with developers, investors, and buyers alike, offering guidance grounded in both business strategy and personal connection.
Today, she serves as the Exclusive Listing Broker for Arenal Hills Villas, a premier eco-luxury gated community featuring over 150 custom homesites inspired by the design standards of the renowned Springs Resort & Spa. Working closely with the development team and the Coldwell Banker Costa Rica network, Phyllis is helping introduce a structured, collaborative approach to luxury real estate in the region while supporting the long-term vision for La Fortuna’s growth.

On the personal side… I am in love with the biodiversity, the sunshine, the rain, and the vibrant energy of La Fortuna. I am on a journey toward becoming more self-sufficient and watching that dream slowly come to life. Life currently includes a seven month old German Shepherd who is deep in the adorable oversized puppy phase and keeping me very busy.
